     The AXP800AE wireline logging surface system is a high-performance and highly reliable logging surface system developed by ArenaPetro, Ltd. after nearly 20 years of research and development. It integrates all the necessary functions of a wireline logging surface system, such as data acquisition, signal processing, tool power supply, cable core switching, data transmission, and winch control, within a 4U high 19 inch cabinet.

 

       The AXP800AE series is an upgraded version of the AXP600HE. After several versions of concept, function, reliability, maintainability, and manufacturability, the focus of this upgrade is to improve the data transmission rate in the cable, the adaptability of the product, and optimize its functions. The AXP800 series surface system continues the functional characteristics of the AXP600 series. Through cooperation with more and more users, it is also constantly adapting to the usage requirements of customers in different business models and regions, such as the field work capabilities in cold (-30°C) or high-temperature (+60°C) areas.

 

       Secondly, the output voltage accuracy of the power module is improved, new protection measures are added, the output noise and EMI interference of the power supply are reduced, and better data acquisition signal-to-noise ratio and higher data transmission rate are obtained.

 

       Thirdly, in this upgrade, the SDX2.0 bus is synchronously upgraded to SDX2.5, and the CAN2.0B bus is replaced with the CAN-FD bus. The transmission rate is increased from 1.0Mbps to 5.0Mbps, and the overall system performance is improved, providing faster real-time data processing and transmission capabilities.

 

      Fourthly, the new surface system is equipped with a brand-new AXP2.0 version acquisition software, which integrates all the functions of the interpretation software and supports logging operations such as vertical wells, horizontal wells, and logging processes such as wireline logging, LWD, and memory logging.

 

      Finally, the display screen is updated, greatly improving the ability to withstand low temperatures and enabling long-term operation or storage in cold regions with a minimum temperature of -40°C.

 

     The main functions and features of the AXP800AE surface system are as follows:

     •      Meeting the needs of exploration logging, production logging, imaging logging, LWD, horizontal well logging, coring, formation testing, VSP, and other operations;

     •      Integrating all modules such as data acquisition, cable transmission, cable core distribution, power conversion, power purification, and voltage regulation and frequency conversion;

     •      New high-performance ARM front-end machine and optimized AXP CE management software, Windows CE 7.0 operating system, wide-temperature display screen;

     •      SDX 2.5 bus and board development specifications, with better compatibility for boards developed by different enterprises;

     •      Time-driven and depth-driven, with time and depth marks on data packets;

     •      100M Ethernet transmission, and can be equipped with additional modules such as VSAT, 4G/5G, WIFI, WLAN, and Starlink to complete remote logging;

     •      Powerful AXP 2.0 version real-time acquisition and interpretation software;

     •      Built-in two high-power frequency conversion programmable power supplies, which can work in DC, AC (50Hz/60Hz), and other modes. The voltage, frequency, protection, power-on curve, and other parameters can be programmed and controlled. The total power output is 2.2KW at 50/60Hz, the maximum output voltage is 800V, and the maximum output current is 2A. The voltage adjustment resolution is increased from the previous 2.5V to 0.5V, and the voltage output uncertainty is reduced from 15V to 3V;

     •      Optional cable data transmission modules of various grades from 100K to 600K or 800K to 1500K;

     •      Compact architecture, which can be configured as a cabinet-type or portable logging system;

     •      4U 19-inch standard chassis, which can work or be stored at -40°C to 60°C;

     •      Highly reliable switches, connectors, fans, wires, and welding, assembly, and inspection processes;

     •      Hardware compatibility with CSU, 5700, and other series, and can be customized according to user requirements;

     •      Having a variety of data formats, languages, and unit systems, fully meeting the requirements of the international market.

    

      The AXP800 series includes four categories: cased hole type (AXP800XC), open hole type (AXP800XE), horizontal well/logging while drilling type (AXP800XL), and test system type (AXP800XT). Each category is further divided into basic version, standard version, enhanced version, international version, and customized version. The horizontal well and logging while drilling models also have explosion-proof functions to meet the needs of different customers.

 

       Starting from the prototype of the AXP600 series, ArenaPetro has developed and produced upgraded products such as AXP600, AXP600A, AXP600B, AXP600C, AXP600D, AXP600E, AXP600F, AXP600G, and AXP600H. The latest model in the open hole logging system is currently AXP800AE, which will be put into mass production in the near future. The AXP800 is fully compatible with the expansion cards and AXP1.98 acquisition software of the AXP600. The expansion card products originally developed by customers can be directly used on the AXP800 series, and the AXP800 will automatically identify the version of the expansion card and operate according to the SDX2.0 protocol.
